Full Tilt Poker Opens Online Tournament Series Tonight

DUBLIN, Ireland -- The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) returns on February 4th for its eleventh running. FTOPS XI features 25 pro-hosted events and guarantees more than $15 million in prize money
Full Tilt Poker continues to grow in influence in the poker world.  over the course of the series.

Pros such as Team Full Tilt's Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen and Andy Bloch will be hosting events and conducting Pro Chats to answer questions sent in by fans. Other hosts include John Phan, winner of two 2008 Player of the Year Awards, and Josh Arieh, winner of two WSOP bracelets.

There are six events that will guarantee at least $1 million in prize money:

Event #1, a $200 + $16 No-Limit Hold 'em tournament with $1 million guaranteed, starting at 21:00 ET on Wednesday, February 4th

Event #10, a $300 + $22 No-Limit Hold 'em tournament with $1.5 million guaranteed, starting at 18:00 ET on Sunday, February 8th

Event #12, a $1,000 + $60 No-Limit Hold 'em Second Chance tournament with $1.5 million guaranteed, starting at 21:00 ET on Monday, February 9th

Event #17, a $300 + $22 No-Limit Hold 'em 6-Max Rebuy tournament with $1 million guaranteed, starting at 21:00 ET on Wednesday, February 11th

The Two-Day Event, a $5,000 + $200 No-Limit Hold 'em tournament with a $2 million guarantee running over the course of two days, starting at 14:00 ET on Saturday, February 14th

The FTOPS Main Event, a $500 + $35 No-Limit Hold 'em tournament with $2.5 million guaranteed, starting at 18:00 ET on Sunday, February 15th

New to FTOPS XI are Event #18, a $200 + $16 Heads-Up Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, and the addition of the "Second Chance" format for Event #12, which awards a free rebuy within the first hour of play. FTOPS XI also features a wide variety of tournament types, including Shootout and Knockout tournaments, as well as Razz, Stud and HORSE events.

Every FTOPS XI champion will receive a special FTOPS champion avatar for use on Full Tilt Poker and a limited-edition gold FTOPS jersey. All players who make the final table of any FTOPS XI event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket.
