NORMAN, Oklahoma -- One of Oklahoma's most highly-anticipated casino openings will occur on July 17th when Chickasaw Enterprises will unveil the new Riverwind Casino. The 219,000-square-foot

The new casino has been designed to be a major entertainment center and tourist destination and will include 2,200 electronic gaming machines, more than 70 blackjack and poker tables and a 77-seat off-track betting lounge. The facility was also designed to offer entertainment and there will be a 1,500-seat showplace theater for concerts. For dining experiences, Riverwind will have two restaurants and a food court.
Its been one year since contrruction began. Favorable weather conditions are credited for the speed construction and on-time opening. In addition to Oklahoma residents, visitors are expected from surrounding states.
