Microgaming Operator Goes Crazy for Mahjong

Simultaneous with this announcement, Microgaming has finalized a contract under which the first of its clients, Vegas Partners Lounge, will offer the aggregate, cash-wager version of Mahjong Mania to its "28Mahjong" customers (www.28mahjong.com).

Vegas Partners Lounge will be capitalizing on the fact that an estimated one billion players worldwide already play Mahjong and that the online version of this game is predicted to be one of the fastest growing market segments over the next five years.

The 136 to 152 tile game that some say was developed by Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher in about 500 BC, still manages to offer modern day players all the tension and excitement of other internet games.
