Klein collected $21,237 and champion’s ring for his victory.

An impressive young player, Loren survived 185 players the day before to win the $300+30 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo for $17,186 and his first champion’s ring. “I want to put a ring on each of my five fingers,” Klein laughed.

Klein’s final, heads-up opponent was Ben Lamb, winner of the same event at the annual Cherokee Classic last November. Holding a 2-to1 chip advantage, it didn’t take him long to shear Lamb.

“I’m thrilled to do so well at such a major tournament!” declared Klein, 'The Cherokee Casino has one of the best poker rooms and tournament programs in the country.'
