ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- As reported by the Associated Press: "An Atlantic City casino getting ready to close its doors for good plans to give away free money before calling it quits.
"The Sands Casino Hotel will shower lucky gamblers with more than $200,000 on its final night of business on Saturday.
"…The extra cash prizes will come from slot machines that haven't paid off their jackpots yet, and the casino is required to award the unhit jackpots before closing its doors for good on Saturday.
"The cash giveaways will be held every half hour between 4 and 8 p.m. Friday, with eight people chosen as computer-generated, randomly selected winners…."
