Riverside Casino Opens in Iowa

RIVERSIDE – As reported by KCRG News: "The 140 million dollar Riverside Hotel and Casino opened its doors to big crowds late Thursday night.

"There were so many people who wanted to

"Gambling fans have been counting down the days to the grand opening.

"The casino will provide a new source of entertainment for Iowans, but it will also pump $1.7 million into the city of Riverside each year.

"The resort features a hotel, a pool, and of course, a casino. A golf course is on the way.

"Plus, there are also plenty of restaurants back inside to choose from.

"'We're using as much local products as we can. We're going to do so much business. We're going to have so many people coming from all over. I can't imagine how great it's going to be,' casino chef Jacob Schloner said.

"Opening night attracted quite a crowd. Now it's up to the casino to keep them coming back for another spin.

"There are still a few finishing touches left before the resort is complete.

"You'll have to wait until next June to tee off on the golf course.
