LIMERICK, Pennsylvania  -- Boyd Gaming Corporation has launched www.boydlimerick.com, its new website for the company's proposed project in Limerick Township.

  about The Limerick Casino, Hotel and Conference Center including artists' renderings, development scope, the Local Impact Report, and an open invitation to the public to submit comments and questions about the project. The website is the initial step in providing information to the community relating to the project.

Blake Cumbers, Vice President of Development at Boyd Gaming, commented on the web launch, "We are excited to be in Limerick Township, and our website will give the citizens of the area a chance to see our plans and understand our business strategy. According to the site, The Limerick Casino will offer a 78,044 square foot casino containing 3,000 slot machines. The design will provide a Las Vegas-style gaming environment. The layout will be efficient from an operations standpoint with all gaming activities conducted in contiguous areas of the casino floor, and the facility is master-planned for expansion.  
Limerick Casino will open with 3,000 slot machines and will have the newest and most exciting slots available. The Company will apply for an additional 2,000 machines after six months of operation, as allowed under the Gaming Act, if market conditions support expansion. Limerick Casino will offer both standard denomination and high denomination slot machines in order to provide a diverse range of machines to our gaming patrons.
